Dupuytren's contracture a fixed flexion contracture of the hand where
the fingers bend towards the palm and cannot be fully extended .

In Dupuytren's contracture the connective tissue under the skin of your
palm contracts and toughens over time eventually forming a thick cord
that can pull one or more of your fingers into a bent position.
