ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT (ACL)?

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the four important ligaments connecting the bones of the knee joint. (The posterior cruciate ligament, the medial and lateral collateral ligaments are the other three).

The ACL connects the posterio-lateral part of the femur to the anterio-medial part of the tibia.
